MAY day!

Hello lovelies,
Wow, it has already been a whirlwind of a summer! so much to share with all of you!
Well first off, I just got back from my week long trip to St.Louis for one of my best friend's graduations. We had a blast! So many stories, and memories were created. It was amazing. Citilalli and I decided that we are going to make it an annual trip to go out to the Lobosky Lake house. Well I got back Thursday night, stayed in LA til Sunday, and then drove back to SB to move into my new home. It is so amazing! I am truly blessed. A couple of my guy friends helped me move, which was a Godsend, that made it go by soooo fast! So I am officially all moved in, and ready to start working! Exciting things happening... I start working with Toast this week as an employee! I can't wait. God has provided soo many great things, I can't wait to see how this summer unfolds. By the way, now that it is summer, and I will have a steady internet connection I am going to try to have a more consistent blogging schedule, no promises, but that is the plan! Hope all of you are having a lovely summer!

New Month! New thoughts!

Hello Darlings, Well this month is a time for new things!!! I am on a new track this month, starting to stick to new goals, and new ideas, and trying to stay positive of about everything in life. So here is the beginning of you looking into my life. Here is the first installment, and I decided to do a "my bag" post.

So, first off, my purse - Vera Wang from Khols, its like a "bowler bag style" lets start clockwise from my "keep calm and carry on" notepad

1. "keep calm and carry on" notepad - where i keep track of my daily spending, and its just a daily reminder that I find very cute
2. Flower print notepad - there is another notepad below it filled with plot ideas, story lines, and characters that spark from events and people in everyday life.
3. Red Camera - this is my travel camera, I keep it in my purse for pictures for my work blog, and then also for just everyday I have a big camera for events
4. Black planner- below all of those i have my planner, which is color coded, has my passport, and business cards in it, and also carries my bills, letters, and special cards, and my check book, so its kind of multi-purpose
5. Pens- i love pens, specifically black and purple pens
6. Toast & Love lip balm - I love this, I got it as a thank you gift for an event we did with this great church, and the wonderful lady in charge of the event got it because it said Toast on it, love it!! so thoughtful!

11. Hot Pink British Flag wallet - pretty much in love with London, and its one of those clutch wallets, and its my two favorite colors

13. another notebook - black used as an extension of my character/plotline journal
14. notepad - for the endless to do lists that I write
15. "Very Sexy" make-up bag

Sorry if that was boring, but I just really wanted to do a "whats in my bag" post. What is actually missing from my bag is lotion, a good book (redeeming love is just too large to carry around) and my sunglasses, which were probably in my car, and my car keys. Hope you enjoyed this, I hope to give you little insights into who I really am all week!

Not-so happy Monday!

Well my dears I have not been having a very happy Monday, but I wanted to remind myself of the things that I do have to be happy about, so I decided to do 5 things that made me happy today.
1. When I walked into starbucks, and was greeted by name (which I love when people use my name)
2. Recieving a letter from my friend Kyle in the Army
3. Sleeping in til 8:30
4. Serving some of my tennis serves in the court
5. That I am getting paid this week!

Monday loveliness.

Just another manic monday!

It all started at about 3am Monday morning... that is when I knew it was going to be quite the week. So at 3am, i got up, and started tossing my cookies.. thats right I was tragically sick. I wasn't able to go back to bed until 6am, and in that time I emailed my professors, and tossed and turned in my bed. I ended up staying in bed all day. i only got out of bed to run over to campus to buy winter formal tix, turned out that was a big mistake.

So I go over there, buy the ticket, and then get back in my car thinking that I should go get gas... i try to turn on the car, it starts and dies. So what do I do, call my dad of course, I make him listen through the phone, he tells me I am out of gas. So I go back into the DC ask to borrow my friends car, go to her apt, pick up the red 5gal gas thing, then go to the gas station, where the gas attendant had to show me what to do. Then I head back up to campus. Mind you, it has just rained, its about 6pm, and it is super windy and about 50degrees out side. so i pull her car up to my car, get out, and attempt to pour the gas into my car, its a no go. One of my guy friends drives by and waves, he must of realized i was in trouble because he backed up and parked, and asked if he could help, i said yes please. I for got to mentiont that the 5gal thing's spout did not fit into the tank's hole, so I went into the DC and had to ask the kitchen for a funnel, so my friend and I attempt to fill the tank with the funnel. We get gasoline all over my car, our hands, and our shoes. Still 50degrees out side and dropping, and my friend had just come from baseball weight training so he is in a tshirt and bball shorts. So then his roommate comes up and suggests that we move the car to another angle so it may be easier to pour the gas in. This would be great if my car actually ran, so I get in, pput the car in neutral, and they get in front of my car, and try to push.. its a no go... they cant budge it even a little.. two more baseball boys walk by and offer to help, so they push my car back enough to get out of the space.. this parking lot is on a hill so I just glide to another spot, and then park so that the tank is now tilted correctly. So we try again, still doesnt work, so one of the guys suggests using a stick to keep the hole open, instead of the funnel. So we do that and we are finally able to get enough gas in so I can make it to a gas station.

Whoever said chilvary is dead does not know guys that I know. They were amazing, and truly my knights in shining armor. So that was my monday, no wonder I hate them so much. haha. However, this also made me thankful, as I was standing out there, freezing, and Im looking at the boy shivering in their shorts and tshirts I was thanking God, for my car, my wonderful, and amazing friends, and the fact that I may be cold at the moment, but that I had a nice warm bed, in a nice warm house to go to.

Monday Madness!

Hello My Darlings,
Well this weekend was a blast. We had our first event on Saturday, and it went off without a hitch. We raised tons of money, it was a gorgeous Santa Barbara day, and we got to use a suite on the Rotunda of the doubletree hotel to get ready! It was fantastic, I love my internship! I could not ask for a better one, God has truly blessed me, and I could not be more thankful. The wonderful ladies I work with are just fabulous! I can not wait to make this my career. Hope you all have a wonderful monday, I woke up not feeling so well, so I will be taking it easy today.
