Oh Monday, you always seem to come too soon!

Hello my loves,
Well my weekend was quite lovely. Friday night I got to act like I was 10 again. We celebrated my beautiful friend Meg's birthday. She is no longer a teenager. However that did not stop us from getting our skate on. A bunch of us went to the local skating rink, and skated the night away. It was a blast, although a few of us did not think so. My friend Mano apparently missed this fun filled activity in his youth, and this was his first time on skates. He did pretty well for a beginner and he was such a sweetie for coming. However, I myself am a seasoned skater. I remember my first pair were pink Barbie ones. I loved them dearly. I had so many birthdays at the skating rink near my house, I was devasted when they tore it down. I remember when I switched from skates to roller blades. My mom told me if I didnt fall that I could use them without wearing all my "protective gear." Oh the good ol' days. Getting out on the rink Friday night I felt at home, I txt my mom and told her I had missed my calling. haha. And to make the night even better we all dressed up in ridiculously bright colors, so that when members of our group fell, it was easier for the 10year olds to skate by and point an laugh. haha we had such agood time. We even dedicated a song to the birthday girl, "party in the USA" by Miley cyrus. It was absolutely fantastic. And to top off the night we got slurpees at 7-11. So much fun!! I hope your weekend was a blast too!!

Inspiration for the week

hello darlings,
I know I am overwhelming you with tons of posts today, but I just feel like I haven't shared alot in a while. Today was just a really overwhelming day. I was faced with a lot of reality checks and I was just really down and out. So instead I tried to avoid it all today but tonight it must have gotten to me and it must have been showing on my face because I was at the gas station and I had to pull in between two cars, and i was super far away from the pump, and I was so disgruntled. So I get out of the car and I must have had the worst look on my face of total dejectedness, and the guy pumping gas behind me was like "your gonna make it" it just put the biggest smile on my face. It totally brightened my day because he may have just been talking about making the pump reach my gas tank, but for me it meant way more. It meant that I was going to make it through all the stuff that I have been going through. It totally reminded me of this post on yes and yes blog, (http://www.yesandyes.org/) that was talking about compliments. I loved it and just wanted to share.

Seeing the Bestie!!!

Hello loves,

Just wanted to share as promised about my best friend, and her birthday. I got to her house early then expected, so she left the door unlocked for me, and its super weird how intune with each other we are, I am walking up to these little town houses, (which by the way look like they are straight out of the movie The Ugly Truth) and I immediately knew hers was the one with all the Halloween decorations covering the door. I went in, and showered, and passed out on her bed til she got there. Then we did some running around, I did my annual shopping at her campus store because it has the cutest things ever. Then we went to the barn where she keeps her horse, and it was beautiful, its at these stables that are only about 10mins away from the nearest mall, but it seems soo secluded, and it is amazingly tranquil. And I love seeing her in her element, she is so wonderful with horses, and she let me ride, which was a lot of fun! And then we went home, and hung out with her roommates, and the four of us got ready and went out for dinner to celebrate her 20th birthday. Then we went back to her place, and watch tv, and then got ready for bed, and talked until midnight, when I wished her an actual Happy Birthday! It was great. I don't get to see her as often as i would like, and it was just very very nice to see her. Then I headed back to my place in the pouring rain. I loved it.

oh what a week!!

Hello Dears,
Well this weekend was fantastic. I had soo much fun. My brother and I had a great time. Well, let me start at the beginning, on my drive up there I was listening to a book on tape and that book was one of the greatest romances that I think that I have ever "read." It is by Jude Deveraux and it is called Lavendar Morning. I highly recommend it to every woman out there. I am sending it to my mom to listen to it. I was so entranced by it that that night when I was going to sleep I listened to the last hour of it because I couldn't wait til I was on the road again to finish it. Anyways, that was a random aside. When I got to my brother's apartment, I got cleaned up and when we jumoed on the bus and went to get crepes. They were delicious. It was so cool being on our own. We felt like we were finally really adults. We were alone, able to make our own decisions. It was very liberating, and a little scary to realize how grown up we are. While eating our crepes we talked about our family and all that our younger cousins have to look forward to, it was very sweet. The next day we went to lunch with our step brother Ryan, and his wife, Shannon, it was really great to see them, it always is. Then after that we dropped off my car, and as we were getting out we say the blue angels fly over for fleet week, and that was pretty awesome. Then we took the bus to the golden gate bridge, and we walked the WHOLE thing. It was very cold but also breathtaking and amazing. It was so much fun!! Then we took the wrong bus, but eventually figured it out,and we went and had tea at Crown and Crumpet. Which I believe i have posted about before back in July. It was a bit girlie for my brother, but I absolutely loved it! Then we walked down to fisherman's wharf and had clam chowder at the same restaurant where we all had dinner when we road tripped to drop Brenn off for college, and we had the same waiter, and as we were leaving, he let us know he remembered us, because he said "see you next month around the same time, since you seem to make monthly visits" I thought it was cool, Brennan didn't find it as intriguing. Then we took the bus, and ironically where we got off to change buses was sitting our waiter from the tea place, so we talked to him for a little while, I should have checked to see if it was a full moon with all the funny little meetings taking place. We then went back to Brenns apartment. The next day we did some shopping, bought Brenn an amazing peacoat from express, which as he would say makes him look "sexy" haha, well it is very nice, then I went to his basketball game, where he won. That was the end of my trip. The next morning I dropped him off at school and then headed for SLO, to see my best friend for her birthday. I hope to share my time with her in a later post. Hope you all are having a lovely week!

Oh how lovely!

Hello again Loves,

Well for my internship we have an upcoming event and I am so excited. My two bosses were showing me their dressses, and they are absolutely adorable. When I asked where they got them they gave me the website, and I was absolutely entranced by it. I strongly encourage you to visit it www.christiannetaylor.com. She is an amazing designer and photographer, and after reading her "about me" I just want to be friends with her, because she sounds like soo much fun to be around. She has inspired me to "seize the day" and really start Living my life now! It reminds me of P.S.I Love you when Gerard Butler tells "Holly" that she needs to start her life NOW. I just wanted to share this with you because I thought it was just fun, and inspiring, and such a lovely website! Hope you enjoy it as well!
